Discription

This Build is for WvW and can be used for Dungeons. The warrior is built as a Tanky Healer that can also deal some pretty good damage. Un-buff the Warrior will have about 34,362 Health (Fully Buff with 3 Orbs can get you over 45k+ Health).

For damage you can either go with a Condition Base or Power Base version of the Build.

Weapons

The Build uses a Greatsword and Longbow, your main damage will come from your longbow applying Burning as your main damage source. The Greatswords purpose is to travel around the big map, getting to places where your needed with "Rush" and "Whrilwind Attack". You can also drop down a Banner for "Sprint" and "Inspire" which gives swiftness to yourself and nearby allies.

The Greatsword uses Superior Sigil of Life, this will give you over 1,000 Healing Power making your Banner skill "Compassionate Banner" heal for more per second and shouts heals for more. The Greatsword uses Superior Sigil of Life, a good tip before going into battle is to quickly kill the creatures nearby, you can do this by pulling a bunch of creatures to yourself and dropping AoE damage from the long bow then switching to the Greatsword for the stacks.

Make sure that you un-check mark "Autotargeting" for your Rush abilities. If surrounded by the enemies and Autotargeting was checked, you will hit the closest target in front of you, un-checking this will allow you to Rush pass the enemies, creating a more safe distance.

Skills

  • Whirldwind Attack can be used both offensively or defensively, to catch up to enemies or to create distance from them. The awesome thing about Whirlwind Attack is that it Evades Attacks meaning you can save your dodge energy and use this skill to evade the heavy hitting damage such as enemy warriors Eviscerate, Kill Shot, etc...

  • Rush makes the warrior run straight ahead at a pretty fast pace, the distance is 1,200 which is quite huge. Once again, this abilities main purpose is to catch fleeing targets or to create some distance.
  • Bladetrail, used to cripple enemies. Can be used offenisvely or defensively. The nice thing about this is that it cripples all enemies that are hit by the blade. With this you have the potential to CC multiple targets.

rk7e9u.png

The stats on the Greatsword doesn't matter too much because majority of the time you will be using the Long bow.

If you want perfect stats on the Greatsword, then I would recommend a Cleric's Greatsword or a Greatsword with the stats of Healing power and Toughness.

Because you will be using the Greatsword for a defensive purpose, if you were to become locked down with "Crowd Controls", you can still weapon swap giving you that extra bit of armor and more healing power for the Shout Heals (Which can still be used if Stunned or Knocked Downed). In such a situation, you would also want to ready yourself for Rush and Whirlwind Attack to create some distance.

Rarely or Un-used Skills

  • These skills will be rarely used just because the damage isn't there due to the lack of Power and Crit Chance. Of course you will be using Greatsword Swing (Auto Attack) for Adrenaline build up or Hundred Blades for the same purpose, but Arcing Slice isn't much of a help since you would want to save adrenaline for Combustive Shot, condition damage is were it's at.

View Raw Image" />

The Longbow provides good AoE Damage, the burst skill "Combustive Shot" sets a large radius Fire Field, a good use for this ability is to burn targets that are knocking on your door, forcing them to withdraw. The Sigil used is Superior Sigil of Water that will give you a chance on attack to heal yourself and nearby allies for 370 Health.

Fast-Cast Ground Targeting takes time to get use to but it does speed things up as you wouldn't need to press Left Click to cast where you want to shoot "Combustive Shot" or "Arcing Arrow". Saving that extra effort to use the ability, you can now cast ground targeting abilities on the location of your cursor.

The Build provides over 1,000 condition damage, you main damage comes from the Burning Damage from your Longbow abilities. Arcing Shot provides a good blast finisher to give Area Might when combo with the Fire Field, increasing Condition and Direct Damage, you can also drop the Banner and pick it up to use Plant Standard, right off the bat you can give 9 Might Stacks to yourself and nearby Allies and use "For Great Justice!" for an additional 3 stacks. 12 Stacks in total. If your using Signet of Rage, you can get up to 17 Stacks easily.

  • Your main auto attack, each arrow has a chance to proc Sigil of Water and can apply Burning if you shoot through a Fire Field, but has a reduced chance to 20%.

  • Fan of Fire is quite tricky because in order to get the maximum damage out of it, you would need to be point blank on the enemy. Each Arrow deals damage and causes Burning. In a situation where you must fight an enemy or multiple, fight inside your fire field and shoot Fan of Fire in their faces, if you can line up the enemy, the shot will pass through hiting those behind your target.

  • Arcing Arrow hits hard, it's kinda the reason why you can use an alternate Armor Stat Build and go with Power instead of Condition Damage. Try to combo this ability with the Area Fields

  • Smoldering Arrow, once again a nice AoE ability, the shot actually has the fastest cast time and animation (same with Pin Down). Which makes it all that great when countering the enemies heavy hitting ability, making it miss.

  • Pin Down can be used defensively or offensively. Typically you would want to use this right after you use Combustive Shot to lock the target in place to take the Burning Damage, right after Pin Down you can land Arcing Arrow more easily with out worrying about the enemy dodging it.

30bis2d.png

*Health says 34k, in WvW it can be increased to about 39-40K (with 3 orbs).

For the stats on the Longbow, you would want to go with Vitality, Healing Power, and Condition Damage. Using the bow titled as "Shaman's" will have the stats needed.

5ysobt.png

  • Combustive Shot and 1,000 condition damage is no joke. You can increase it to about 1,400-1600 with Might stacks and then it becomes serious business. Might Stacks can come fairly easily with Arcing Arrow, Banner placement, and Plant Banner as Blast Finishers. Additionally you can use "For Great Justice!" and Signet of Rage to increase it to 17 Stacks.

Utilities

Utilities is where it gets tricky. Depending on the situation, you would want to use different utility set ups. Reason being is that its more effective specializing for specific objectives.

Type: Heavy Heal Support
Purpose: Supporting allies that are defending or attacking (On walls or assulting gates). Ment for large groups
Difficulty Level: High

14wajd.png

The utilities set up for the main WvW build uses Healing Signet, "Shake it Off!", "For Great Justice!", Banner of Tactics, and Battle Standard.

To play this utility set up, your main focus is to keep allies health up while continuing on to DPS.

r9k0nd.png

Type: Ground Support Fighter
Purpose: Supporting Allies on ground. For small objectives such has hitting supply camps or intercepting the enemy forces.
Difficulty Level: Medium

The way you want to use Healing Surge is to use it before you get into the fight, doing so will help build Adrenaline, If you spam it every 30 seconds for 90 seconds you will get full level 3 Adrenaline Burst and thats before you engage into the battle. If Adrenaline seems to be draining away just hit and nearby creature to prevent that from happening. So right off that bat you can start yourself with a Combustive Shot.

For this build and to play it efficiently you must keep this in mind:

1. You got to keep track of your healing regeneration, get the timing right on "Compassionate Banner". Knowing that the Healing Regen will last for 7 seconds and has a 10 second cool down, you must maintain the healing regen, keeping it on players at all times when its available. So...
Pick it up -> cast Compassionate Banner -> Drop it -> continue on DPS for 8 seconds -> Repeat.
For this build, its a hassle to keep track of where your banner is at all times. But it's needed.

2. Your constantly looking at your enemies, making sure your attacking the right targets but you also got to be wary of your surroundings, more importantly the ground so you can combo blast with the banner. So while your keeping eyes on the enemies and the ground, you also have to pay attention to your allies and their health, by moving the cursor over players so you can see their health bar.

3. To heal efficiently, you mustn't over heal. To do so is by mouse cursoring over allies to see if they need healing or not, if they do you must be within range for your shout heal. So you mustn't forget to bring your banner with you.

*It's a lot to take in when the battle field can get pretty hectic.

The Traits reduces the cool down of both Shouts and Banners, additionally the Banners of Tactics provides a Healing Regeneration and the Shouts does an AoE Heal.

The reason why this is a tad easier build is because your no longer managing the Banner. But you will still be keeping eyes on your allies making sure your healing them. Save "Fear Me!" to either interrupt Healing Skills, Stop enemies from finishing your allies, or stop enemies from ressurrecting their own.

You can replace Signet of Rage for Battle Standard if you are grouped with allies. If one of your allies were to go down, you can quickly get them back on their feet with the ressurection.

Armor

This is where it gets expensive, the Armor you would want to use is a full set of Jalis. This Armors primary stat is Vitality, its the only heavy armor that has vitality as it's primary stat that you can buy on the trading post. Additionally Healing Power and Condition Damage are also the main focus stat of this build. If you do not have the funds to afford the armor, your can buy it from  Seraph Outfitter Eva at Fort Marriner in  Lion's Arch using Seals of Beetletun which can be obtained through doing the dungeon Caudecus's Manor (explorable).

2ppzr6u.png

 View Raw Image" width="319" height="147" />

For your Rings and Accessories, you would want to use "Carrion" giving you Power, Vitality, and Condition damage.
The primary stat for these items is condition damage, making burning tick for more. Vitality is a nice bonus as well, pumping your health up as high as you can get it. Lastly you are given Power, power over all will help you hit a tad bit harder which is nice but you also get more Health because of your trait "Great Fortitude" which converts 5% of power into vitality.

The second expensive piece for this build is the amulet, you would want to use Sapphire Pendant which can cost over 17 Gold or you can craft it in the Mystic Forge with: [50 Mystic Coin] + [250 Gold Ingot] + [250 Crystalline Dust] + [250 Sapphire Orb]. The Amulet is the only one that gives you a Primary Vitality stat and once again giving you Healing Power and Condition Damage.

55lhz.png

For your Back item, you would want to equip a Caretaker Backpack of Carrion. Givng you Healing Power and Vitality as it's your focused stats for this build.

As you noticed on the Backpack, Amulet, Accessories, and Rings, the items are upgraded with Exquisite Chrysocola Jewels. This will increase your Condition damage even further as well as increase your health with Vitality and Power conversion to Vitality from the Trait.

Runes

For your runes, there are a couple different ways you can build the Warrior. It usually is self preference or the rune is chosen because you want to be in a 'fixed' position. (IE. Main Healer in the group, etc...)

___________________

(1): +25 Toughness
(2): +15 Vitality
(3): +50 Toughness
(4): +35 Vitality
(5): +90 Toughness
(6): Gain Health    Regeneration

Rune of the Dolyak

If you don't want to spend any more gold. I highly recommend keeping the standard rune that is already on the Jalis Armor. This Rune is really good if your on the Offensive or Defense when assaulting a gate or defending it because of the High Toughness, Vitality, and the Passive Health Regeneration. With this, you can tank through Arrow Carts as if they were nothing because you have so much armor.

Keep this in mind. You gain +200 Armor if crippled (Trait). You gain Passive Heal from the Trait Adrenal Health. You gain the Rune Passive Health Regen. and you gain Healing Signet Passive Health Regen.

We're looking at 3 Passive Health Rengeration and a shit tone of Armor. With the utilities you also provide the Health Regeneration Boon and 2 AoE direct Heals from the Shouts.

___________________

(1): +25 Healing
(2): +15 Boon Duration
(3): +50 Healing
(4): 5% chance to remove a condition when hit.
(5): +90 Healing
(6): When you use a healing skill, you and nearby allies are healed for a small amount.

Rune of the Water

If you want to focus more on healing your allies, to play more of a heavy support healer. I would recommend using Rune of the Water which will increase the duration of your Health Regeneration Boon. What makes this even better is the 6th Rune which causes an AoE Heal whenever you use your healing skill. With Healing Signet, you can purposely spam your healing skill just to heal the allies around you, the shout cool down from the healing skill makes it possibly.

The 6th Rune heal is truly amazing, the base heal is 690 @level 80. 50% of Healing Power is added to it, so you can pretty much get AoE heals of 1,000 every 20 seconds, about 1.7-2k AoE Heals with Shouts every 20 seconds (can do twice because you have two Shouts).

As a dedicated healer, you will be mainly carrying the Banner of Tactics at nearly all times, casting Compassionate Banner and Inspire to your allies will keeping eyes on the ground for Water Fields for the Area Heal.

(1): +25 Vitality
(2): +15 Toughness
(3): +50 Vitality
(4): +35 Toughness
(5): +90 Vitality
(6): Shouts remove a condition.

Rune of the Soldier

If your more focused on ground skirmishing, hitting small objectives such as supply camps or quaggan camps. Then I would recommend using Rune of the Soldier. Because of your utilities, you will be using 3 shouts and with the rune 6th bonus, it removes conditions on yourself and allies whenever you use a Shout. This is pretty huge if you want to stay alive against heavy condition damage focused enemies.

With this rune you can get up to 39-40k health (with 3 orb of course).

Traits

[10 Strength]: +100 Power / +10% Condition Duration

For your chosen Adept trait. There are two choices of Traits depending on your specific role.

On Defensive
_____________
Protecting your Gate.

Trait I.png
Death from Above

Damage and launch foes when you take falling damage. Take 50% less damage from falling.

If you are protecting your base, protecting your gate. You would want to use Death from Above. The way you would want to use this is by jumping off of the wall and landing infront of your gate. This will knock invaders attacking your door or stop and delay enemies that are using their Flame Rams.
On Offensive
_____________
Attacking enemies gate or fighting on the ground.
Trait III.png Great Fortitude

5% of power is given as a bonus to vitality.

If your assaulting the enemies base or doing anything other then defending your base. Then you would want to use Great Fortitude which will help keep you alive in the fight, maximizing your health to take in even the heaviest hitting attacks and survive without a problem.

[30 Defense]: +300 Toughness / +300 Healing Power

On the Defense trait line, you will not be changing anything. Keep it as it as it will work for both offensive, defensive, and any situation that WvW throws at you.

Trait I.png
_____________
Embrace the Pain
Gain adrenaline when hit.

Embrace the Pain is pretty much a must have for the build. If your getting hit by Arrow Carts your Adrenaline will sky rocket up to full level 3 Adrenaline Bars allowing you to use Combustive Shot more.
Trait II.png
_____________
Turtle's Defense

Gain +200 toughness when crippledchilled, stunned, or immobilized.

Turtle's Defense is also one of those "Must Have" traits, with +200 toughness and already having so much Armor. This will make Arrow Carts become nearly ineffective towards you. Combined with Embrace the Pain trait, it makes you want to stand in the line of fire just so you can hit them back even harder with your combustive shot.

Trait XI.png
_____________
Defy Pain

Activates Endure Pain at 25% health.

Defy Pain is great, even though your health rarely drops down at 25%. It's to ensure that you will survive the unexpected. You might get hit by multiple trebs and focused hard by an enemy zerg and thats where Defy Pain will become a life saver.

[30 Tactics]: +300 Vitality / +30% Boon Duration

For the Tactics trait line, everything will stay the same unless you change your utilities to not have any Banners. If so you would want to switch out your Adept trait.

Trait V.png
_____________
Inspiring
Banners
Banners apply their bonuses to a larger area. Banners recharge 20% faster.

If you are not using any banner, you can swap out Inspiring Banners for Stronger Bowstrings which will increase the longbow range.
Trait VIII.png
_____________
Lung Capacity
Shouts recharge 20% faster.

Because you have 2 or possibly 3 shouts, its best to reduce their cool downs which will allow you to use it more frequently.
Trait XII.png
_____________
Vigorous
Shouts
Shouts heal.

Because you can use your shouts more frequently and are using 2 or 3 shouts, this trait is a must have to keep yourself and allies alive, allowing your shouts to AoE Heal.

Consumables

If you want to maximize your stats, I highly recommend buffing yourself with food and Boosters.

Food

Bowl of Orrian Truffle Soup

Last for 30 Minutes

Gain +100 condition damage and +70 vitality

This is a really good consumables that will help out your damage as well as your survivability. This will easily carry your health above 40,000. (If you have 3 orb buff)

Armor Booster
 Armor Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that reduces incoming damage by 5% for one hour.
Speed Booster
 Speed Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that increases your speed by 15% for one hour.
Strength Booster
 Strength Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that increases your damage by 5% for one hour.
Rejuvenation Booster
 Rejuvenation Booster

Weapons

The key point and what's really fantastic about the Power Version of the build is that you can now use the Greatsword not only for survivability but you can use it for DPS as well. The build maintains a high health pool and armor and in exchange for condition damage you are granted Power, Precision, and Critical Damage. Your health pool will be lowered a bit compared to the Condition version.

Once again for defensive purposes, make sure that you un-check mark "Autotargeting" for your Rush abilities. If surrounded by the enemies and Autotargeting was checked, you will hit the closest target in front of you, un-checking this will allow you to Rush pass the enemies, creating a more safe distance.

Skills

  • Use this ability for defensive and offensive purposes, if you quickly want to burst down and enemy, use this skill right after Hundred Blades.  To use this defensively use it to create distance from the enemies or use it to Evade heavy damage dealing abilities.

  •  This is your basic auto attack, stacks vulnerability on enemies which increases the damage they receive by 1% per stack.

  •  This is your main DPS burst skills. when fighting multiple enemies try hitting them all with this skill as it hits all targets within range. You are stationary when using this ability so its best to use Bladetrail for the cripple/immobilize before using Hundred Blades.

  • Don't be afraid to use this ability. A lot of players think Arcing Slice is underpowered, and even myself when I compare it to other weapon burst skills. What's great about it is not the Fury Boon you get from it, its actually the damage it can do. If your needing that bit of extra damage on and enemy and all else skills are on cool down, don't be afraid to use it. I've seen this ability critical hit over 8K.

For the stats on the Greatsword, you would want to have Power, Vitality, and Critical Damage. This is huge when combined with your Armor that focuses on precision for critical hit chance.

On your Greatsword, there are three choices of Sigils you can pick from.

This is great if you want to quickly burst your target down, this procs for over 2K damage.

If you find yourself always fighting multiple enemies, this sigil is also a good choice. This procs for about 1.5K damage AoE hitting enemies nearby.

This is a well rounded sigil, it deals about 453 damage and heals you for the same amount. Apparently sigil heal amount scales with healing power, I will further test this to confirm.

For the Power Base version of this build, you would want to use the Rifle for it's heavy hitting attacks. The Rifle is also great as it will give you an extra crowd control ability, the Rifle skill "Rifle Butt" which knocks back enemies.

Skills

Bleeding Shot Bleeding Shot

  • The Rifles Auto attack, generally used when all else skills are on cool down.

Aimed Shot Aimed Shot

  • Aimed Shot will help control the target, crippling or even immobilizing when traited.

Volley Volley

  • Used whenever it is off cool down. Volley deals the second best direct damage for Rifles. This will help out your DPS.

Brutal Shot (rifle skill) Brutal Shot

  • Used to weaken the targets armor making direct damage hit harder. Use this ability before any other as it will increase it's damage.

Rifle Butt Rifle Butt

  • Used to knock back targets. You can use this to knock targets off of cliffs or to intrupted enemies that are trying to finish downed allies or heal their own.

Kill Shot Kill Shot

  • Kill Shot hits pretty hard, capable of dealing over 10K damage in a single shot, can be used to finish enemy players.

View Raw Image" width="269" height="226" />

For the stats on Rifle, you would want to have Power as primary and then Precision and Critical Damage. You can use rifles that are titled as "Berserker's" as it will have the stats you need.

For the sigil you would want to use Sigil of Bloodlust which will help increase your attack, pumping it well over 3.4K

Utilities

You can use the same Utilities as the Condition Base Version.

Type: High DPS Burst
Purpose: Used for ground fighting and small battle skrimishing.
Difficulty Level: Medium-High

This will provide a lot of Burst DPS, using Signet of Rage and "For Great Justice!" will give you 8 Stacks of might and Fury. Then using "On My Mark!" on the target so they will take 10% More damage. Use Bladetrail to Immobilize the target and then Frenzy + Hundred Blades for major damage.

Playstyle is similar to
Hundred Blades (Tournament)

Armor

The hard part is actually getting the right Armor. For your armor you will want to use Armor that gives Healing Power as Primary and then Precision and Vitality. You can get this type of gear by doing Twilight Arbor (explorable) and getting Deadly Bloom which can be traded in for the Nightmare set from Valiant Saeraquel at Fort Marriner in Lion's Arch.

On your Accessories, Rings, and Amulet the upgrade component you would want to use is Exquisite Beryl Jewel which will increase Power as primary and Vitality and Critical Damage. Giving you more health and damage.

For your Rings, Accessories, and Amulet, you would want to use

Ruby Orichalcum Ring

Ruby Orichalcum Earrin

Ruby Orichalcum Amulet

Giving you Power, Precision, and Critical Damage.

For your back you can use

Guild Assassin Backpack for more damage, increasing power, precision, and critical damage

or

Guild Defender Backpack which will increase damage and survivability by giving you Power, Vitality, and Toughness.

Runes and Orbs

For your Armor upgrade, there are a couple different ways you can build the Warrior. It usually is self preference or the rune is chosen because you want to be in a 'fixed' position. (IE. Main Healer in the group, etc...)

Gain +200 toughness when crippledchilledstunned, or immobilized.

 Trait I.png
_____________
Leg Specialist

Apply a 1-second immobilize whenever you cripple a target with a skill.

This will help you land Hundred Blades.

Bowl of Curry Butternut Squash Soup Gain +100 precision and +10% critical damage
Bowl of Curry Pumpkin Soup Gain +100 precision and +70 vitality
Speed Booster
 Speed Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that increases your speed by 15% for one hour.
Armor Booster
 Armor Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that reduces incoming damage by 5% for one hour.
Strength Booster
 Strength Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that increases your damage by 5% for one hour.
Rejuvenation Booster
 Rejuvenation Booster
Double-click to gain a buff that regenerates health for one hour.

Finally finished writing up the Power Version of the Build, can get up to 34K health, 2.7K+ Armor, 67% Crit Chance (With Fury), and over 3.6K attack (8 stacks of Might and Bloodlust stacks). High damage, High Survivability Stats, and Shout Healing.

This build is beastly. I love it. I'm currently running it on my warrior. I only need the back piece and Jalis' Pauldrons or equivalent. I bought everything else last night. I'm using full Chrysocola Carrion Jewelry though.

Currently I am laughing in the face of death and collecting badges like candy corn.

Thank you very much for this build.

P.S. If not for this I never would have discovered how sexy the Naga Fang is.

I've also decided to keep my Superior Rune of Divinity for the +10 to all stats instead of full Dolyak runes. My regen seems to be working fine using signet and hitting the right combo's around me with bow.

This looks like it might be pretty cool, I will have to try it out some time - always messing around with builds on Yakama cause I can't figure out one that I am totally happy with.

Just noticed something big kinda, you can get the armor from then second in AC instead of Twilight Arbor and it's a lot easier to do and farm.

I've been gone for about 3 months, I'm back now and seeing a lot of changes regarding about the items. First off, you will no longer be getting over 45,000 health because those WvW Orbs no longer exist. Your health will range about 27-34 with self buffs (not including Guild Buffs) and with the new items your toughness would be roughly around 1.8k so while you take a major health decrease, you make up for it by reducing damage. Also it seems like the bonus Health scaling has some kind of diminishing return, for example on the Condition version stats Screen Shot it will say "Health 34,202" and it's increased to 39,332 your looking at a near 5K bonus health and as for the Power version stats Screen Shot it will say "Health 27,542" and it's increased to 33,314 which is almost a 6K bonus health. Which pretty much means once you hit a certain amount of Vitality, this bonus health may become less effective and with all these new changes, this bonus health has been decreased by a lot, I get about 400-700 bonus health. I'll try to play around with this Bonus Health Scaling a bit to find where it caps and begins to have a diminishing return effect (IF it actually does).

Anyways, here are some accessory changes. Of course Assended gear will be better but haven't got any or looked into further details about them.

Changes on Traits:
(Condition Version)
- Great Fortitude doesn't seem to be a good choice and seems like a waste of 10 traits just to get a bit of extra health.
- Put 10 Points in Discipline instead. You will alternate with two trait, "Inspiring Shouts" for combat and "Warrior's Sprint" for roaming.

(Power Version)
- Take 10 Points off of Strength line and place them into Discipline and alternate with two traits "Warrior's Sprint" for roaming and "Heighten Focus" for combat. This is huge for your DPS as you will have an extra 9% crit chance and +10% critical damage.

Armor Upgrade:
For both Power and Condition Version. Just stick with "Rune of the Soldier". Keeping Conditions off yourself and Allies is huge and will definitely keep your allies alive. (Confusion Stacks is a pain in the but)

*I will try to do a full update on this when I get the time

Thanks guys, glad you like it ^_^

It's still a bit out of date but still works effectively. While this build is designed as a "Hybrid" being able to DPS, Heal, and Tank, I don't think it excels at all three rolls, it's a jack of all trades but a master at none. It's still definitely good for 1v1 or 1vX.

Heres a new Build I made design for teamplay in WvW. The Build is as tanky as it can get while maximizing Armor, Health, and Healing Power efficiently. It's purpose is to stay in front of the group absorbing and taking enemy hits so the squishy players behind don't have to.
