The Council
While Forgefire does have a founder, it is not a monarchy, nor is it a dictatorship. Instead, it is a council, and much of the decision making will take place using a voting system.
Common Voting topics:
-topics relating to relations with other guilds (alliances, etc..)
-promotion to officer
-aesthetic changes (official colors, etc…)
-replacement of a council member
While these are not all of the topics to be voted on by the council, these should give you an idea of impact council votes will have on the day to day guild life.

For all other important decisions, we will be utilizing a “triad” system. This means that if a council member would like to take action on something, he must consult with 2 other council members before doing so. Using this method, we can allow the guild to make quick decisions, without requiring a full vote.
Common Triad system topics:
-New Recruits
-Movement from one house to another
-Removing a player from guild
Again, while these are just some of the decisions being made using the “triad” system, you should now better understand how these decisions will impact daily guild life.

The Houses
The guild is made up of several houses, each led by a council member. These houses represent a selection of different play styles. In this way, a wide variety of players are able to come together in one guild, and yet still be part of a group that best reflects their individual style. Each house has it’s own story, symbol, and color.

House Ardens
Once known as “The Burning House” because on more than one occasion, a sparring session would end in the entire building catching fire! These brash young warriors are always looking for fun, be it killing enemy soldiers, or fighting the hordes of beasts that ravage the countryside. House Ardens is well known to be the trickster of the houses, often going the extra mile to not only defeat their foes, but embarrass them as well!
This house is recommended for:
-Younger members
-Those who enjoy joking around and just “having fun”
-Not particularly PvP or PvE focused, but enjoy both
House Ardens is known to have a care-free fun-loving attitude among it’s members. When dealing with House Ardens members, expect them to be respectful, but do not be surprised if they are jesters of a sort.

House Ustura
Often referred to as “The Protectorate House”, due to the house’s reputation for serving as both a guide and a leader to anyone who should call upon them. These are battlefield masters, and dragon slayers. Members of House Ustura are known for their ability to work with anyone, and always keep a cool head. Their knowledge is vast, and they are always willing to share it. However, do not think that because Ustura practices a level of stoicsm, that they are not a force   to be reckoned with in battle. Count on Ustura to always be on target, knowing exactly how to defeat an enemy, and don’t be surprised if they bow to their fallen foes.
This house is recommended for:
-Experienced MMO players
-Players that enjoy helping others
-Not particularly PvP or PvE focused, but enjoy both
House Ustura is known for providing a powerful ally in any situation. When dealing with House Ustura members, expect a relaxed atmosphere with a focus on perfection of strategy.

House Ferro
The first general to reside over house Ferro, is quoted as saying “There is little else in this life I love more than to see my enemies fall at my feet.” This quickly became the credo of House Ferro. If you seek members of this house, simply follow the smoke rising from beyond the horizon. If there’s a battle raging, you can be sure to find members of House Ferro wading among the chaos. They thrive on war, and will seldom do anything else. This house is known for being intimately familiar with the enemy, and it is because of this that they tend to run in tight formation, making quick maneuvers to strike at the heart of the enemy and then escape almost completely unnoticed.
This house is recommended for:
-Hardcore PvPers (note: all other houses will also PvP regularly, Ferro will be more focused on group strategies and organization)
-Older Players
-Players interested in tightly organized gameplay
House Ferro is almost exclusively PvP oriented. If you see a member of House Ferro fighting a monster, you can be pretty sure that it wasn’t their first choice. When dealing with house Ferro, expect a serious, respect-oriented atmosphere, with a focus on perfecting the art of organized PvP.

House Semotus
Nomads, seekers of great knowledge, kind hearted sages. To House Semotus members, life is all bout going with the flow. To see a member of Semotus is a rare treat! To see a group of Semotus, marks a special occasion indeed. Known for their vast wordly knowledge and willingness to participate in almost any activity, the members of this house easily adapt to whatever the present need may be. While they may not be as often seen as the other houses, they will often surprise you with their skill both on and off the battlefield. When one interacts with members of House Semotus, they can expect an easy-going yet enthusiastic atmosphere.
This house is recommended for:
-Casual players
-Older players
-Not particularly PvP or PvE focused, but enjoy both
House Semotus is perfect for those who do not want to adhere to a set schedule, and play less frequently. This does not however mean that they are at all inexperienced. Members of house Semotus bring a jovial and fun attitude to the guild, and are capable of fitting in just about anywhere.
